In 1982, husband and wife team, Carl and Angela Daly, launched their business by growing and supplying wholesale mussels to the French seafood market. With her strong background working within the gourmet food sector and a qualification from Ireland’s acclaimed Ballymaloe Cookery School, it was no surprise that Angela soon began to experiment with prepared meal options using their exquisite supply of Kenmare Bay mussels.
The result is an award-winning chef-developed range of meals created using quality natural ingredients. Winners of two gold medals in the Blas Na h’Eireann inaugural Irish Taste Awards (Best Seafood Product in Ireland and Best Ready Meal in Ireland), Kenmare Bay Seafoods has quickly become recognised as a market leader in innovative gourmet seafood.

Our position is idyllic on the edge of the South West Coast of Ireland. Our mussels are harvested from our organic sustainable farm, cleaned and brought directly to our nearby cookhouse facility. Here, we prepare a range of chef-developed recipes using only the finest natural ingredients.
And, because we both produce and process our mussels, our customers know that quality and freshness is always guaranteed – we’re uniquely positioned to monitor standards and procedures and keep a watchful eye on each little step along the way.
